This installation will require a restart of the PC. It is recommended that all applications are closed during this installation.
Open Box. Find CD and install software before plugging in camera. The CD should autorun if not go to Start select My Computer select CD drive double click to open and click on USB20PCCam_v5.5.8.10. When box comes up on screen click Install. If you are told the software is not verified click continue, no other choices should be asked except if you have a firewall or Windows Vista, in these cases the software will ask you to allow installation of software click Yes.
Assemble Camera. Take Camera off the card and the tripod out of the bag. Screw the tripod\stand in to the bottom of the clip. Take off the cable tie and splay the legs of the camera, place on desk.
Plug Camera in. Plug the USB (oblong plug) camera lead in to any available USB port on your PC, plug the small round plug in to the microphone socket on the PC. Windows should find the drivers for the camera. If a dialog open asking to install or allow the installation of the software/driver click Yes.
Lens Cap. Remove the lens cap before use and replace when camera is out of use.
Restart the PC. Restart the PC when the software asks.
Further installation instructions. Refer to the enclosed instructions with the camera.
Video not showing. Click on the video icon at the bottom of the black square.
Video too small to see. Click on the bottom right corner and drag diagonally to a size that is more comfortable to watch. Note: The interpreter may ask you to reduce it a bit to assist with the speed and clarity of signing.
No Sound coming out. Click on the microphone icon at the bottom of the video window. If this does not work, click on the bottom toolbar of your main screen (outside the window) and check if the audio volume setting is off – if so, click it on.
